SANTA'S VAN FAQS
IF YOU HAVE MADE A BOOKING A MEMBER OF STAFF WILL CALL/TEXT AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE VISIT.
We kindly ask you to read the FAQS it should answer all your questions. We are extremely busy so are only able to answer urgent messages.
*Traffic will be increasing daily on the run up to Christmas delays may happen : we will be in touch if we are significantly delayed: please do not contact us for updates unless your time slot has dramatically passed
*We will try and message prior to your visit with a heads up when we are 5-10 minutes away. This is shoes and coats time. This will ensure everyone is ready when we arrive.
Santa and driver will proceed to prepare the grotto, this will take a minute or two. When you hear Santas bell come on out. All the kids will board: 6-7 children at a time. Santa will address all children in the group at once and spend time then with each child.
**Please bring all children out at once to avoid delays. We will do family photos if bookings are mixed families.
For example if you have booked a slot on the 23rd Dec 12:00 - 4:00 pm We will arrive between this time slot, We will be in touch at least 48 hours prior to your visit to confirm final details.
Unless your number has increased dramatically above 10 there is no need to let us know in advance.
We are unable to swap bookings, dates or times automatically. A new booking will be required and the previous slot cancelled.
This allows us to be able to “Hopefully” resell the previous slot.
Payments are processed during the visit, Preferred method is CASH, but we do have a card machine on hand, this will be dependant on internet connectivity which can be unreliable so cash is always easier.
Our Santa van is over 6m in length, which is roughly the size of 3 cars The area the van is being parked on must be safe for both the van and children, We can not park on any busy roads of large slants/hill.
Kindly plan ahead : Move Cars : Open Gates ahead of our arrival to make it as smooth as possible.
99.9% of the time this is not possible. The route is planed to be as efficient as possible, to minimise travel between bookings, this is the only way we can get around everyone.
